Rogue Safaris operates their foremost Zimbabwean camp in an area called Nyatana in the north-east of the country near the Mozambican border. We also operate out of fly camps in many of the major safari areas in Zimbabwe. Our Mozambique hunts operate out of the area neighbouring Nyatana in Mozambique near Tete. Where we do not have established camps we utilise fully-functional, professionally set up fly camps for the duration of the trip.

We offer various large and dangerous game hunts including Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Hippo as well as most plains game including Sable and Kudu going right down to small game including game birds. A tailor-made package can be designed to suit your unique needs. Where all of your requests are not met in Nyatana these will be sourced in alternative concessions around the country.

We also work closely with the CAMPFIRE Association ('Communal Areas Management Programme for Indigenous Resources'). The CAMPFIRE model encompasses and embraces the facets of community empowerment, knowledge and skill dissemination, biodiversity protection, and water source restoration. CAMPFIRE began in Zimbabwe in the 1980s and concentrates on persuading local people to view wildlife as a resource, not as a threat to them, their crops and livestock. CAMPFIRE encourages people in rural villages to look after the wildlife in their area, raising money by selling hunting quotas to professional hunters and safari companies. In these challenging times in Zimbabwe we feel it is vital to ensure that the local communities we hunt alongside can also benefit from these activities and are not negatively affected in any way.
